Please join us for the 5th Annual Hurricane Region Lighthouse Cruise, as we visit the Wilmington, Southport area. This year our headquarters will be the Comfort Suites on Market Street in Wilmington, NC.
The action begins with registration at the motel late Friday afternoon followed by dinner at the Bluewater Grill.
Saturday we will drive to Southport, view the Oak Island Lighthouse, and then ferry over to Bald Head Island, tour the island, visit one of North Carolina’s oldest lighthouses and enjoy lunch at the marina. We will then pay a visit to Fort Fisher before returning to Wilmington, where you will be free to explore this historic city and sample some of the great food and entertainment Wilmington is famous for.
Sunday we will visit the Battleship North Carolina. Lunch at the Brasserie du Soleil at Lumina Station is optional before heading home. Registration for this year’s cruise will open in July and close September 14th. We are limited to at total of 50 people and reservations go fast. REGISTRATION
Registration fee is $120 per person and includes Dinner, tax and gratuity Friday night, lunch on Saturday and all tours/ferry charges. We have reserved 25 rooms at the Comfort Suites of Wilmington under the Hurricane Region, Porsche Club of America. Please call them at 910-793-9300 to make your reservation Room charges are not included in the registration fee. Reservations must be made no later than September 12, 2008.
